From the 110 Freeway
Exit at Sepulveda and head west.
Make a left on Arlington Ave and we are on the right side about 10 blocks down.
We are across from the City of Lomita City Hall.  We are between Sepulveda and Lomita Blvd.

From the 405 Freeway
Exit at Crenshaw and head South on Crenshaw past the refinery and make a left on Sepulveda.  Then right on Arlington.

From San Pedro
Take Western to Pacific Coast Hwy and turn left on PCH.  Then right on Narbonne Ave.  We are on the left just past Lomita Blvd.

From Redondo Beach

Do you issue marriage licenses?
Yes, for weddings taking place in Los Angeles County.  

Can we get married today?
Yes, we issue the license and perform the ceremony the same day.  Must have valid ID.

Can I bring my own Public License?
Yes, some couples do get their own license first and come to us to get married.  Some couples like to get a Public License and that is just fine with us. 

Can you issue a marriage license for other counties?
No, only Los Angeles County.  You will need to get your own license for weddings outside LA County.

What kind of ID do we need?
Drivers license (Issued in the US or Canada), State issued ID card or Passport that is not expired.  Expired ID is not valid and can not be used for obtaining a marriage license from a Notary.  If you have only the Matricula Consular card you will have to obtain a license directly from the Clerks office in Norwalk.  Notaries can take the Matricula Consular card as ID as long as it is not expired.

My Finance is not a Citizen, can we get married?
Yes, in California you can marry your finance if he/she is here in the US on the K-1 visa. You do not have to be a US Citizen to get married in California.  As long as you have a passport or Consular card for ID. 

Can you marry us over the phone?
No, both parties must me in front of the Notary that issues the marriage license.  Marriage by Proxy is not legal and if a Notary issues you a license like that your marriage is not valid.

Do we travel to other cities?
Yes, We perform weddings in the following counties.  Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Ventura, Riverside, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties. 

How much are certified copies of the marriage license?
Copies are $13 each.  We recommend that you purchase the copies when you are married. 

How long does it take to get our license back after it is recorded?
Around 8-10 weeks from the LA recorders office. Up to 4 Weeks with Express Mail for $25

Can we get it back sooner?
Yes, let us know you would like the Express Mail option.  It is $25 more and you will get the license back in 4 weeks.  This is important for couples planning to do immigration and members of the military.

Do you marry same sex couples?
Yes, We have married many same sex couples.  Currently we can not issue the marriage license but we will resume as soon as Prop 8 is overturned.
 
Can same sex couples change their names after they are married?
Yes, in California our DMV will recognize the name change with a certified copy of the marriage license.  Check with your home state for your requirements.
